The Grip Department encompasses production, rigging, and construction grip equipment rentals and services including chain motors, canvas shop, steel scaffolding (reusable) and the scene dock. In addition to our rentals and services, the Grip Department offers assistance in scheduling and booking skilled and dependable grip talent for your productions. Canvas Shop – Assists scenic artists and grip technicians in the supply and installation of scenic backings, canvas, duvatyne, rags, scrims, silks, flags – in any style or size. If it is not in our inventory a custom order is not a problem.

Steel Pipe Scaffolding & Decks – The Grip Department is leader in promoting the use of steel pipe scaffolding & decks. We maintain a substantial inventory of this environmentally superior and reusable equipment for rental to the entertainment community. Our specially trained staff will build the structure designed to fit your production.

Scene Dock – The Scene Dock maintains a collection of set pieces from productions past. Included in their inventory: fire escapes, steel ladders, columns, fireplaces and wrought iron fences.
