WE ARE All IN THIS TOGETHER

Step-By-Step –> Back Stronger.

We are all in this together. Everyone plays a crucial role in ensuring we maintain a safe work environment. Please read the guides referenced below so you know what to expect as you return to the workplace.

Updated: August 31, 2020

PREVENTATIVE MEASURES UNDERTAKEN AT THE STUDIO
  • Warner Bros. Studio Operations (WBSO) has placed hand sanitizer stations at common areas around the lot.
  • Many public restrooms have been upgraded to touchless faucets and soap dispensers.
  • Plexiglass barriers have been installed at studio entrances and retail locations.
  • Custodial has greatly increased their cleaning and disinfecting routines around all areas of the lot.
  • The studio is in the process of raising our already high standard of air filtration in our heating and air conditioning systems to the highest efficiency filters that are compatible with our systems – MERV 13 filters. We have made this decision in compliance with CDC guidelines. These filters are in excess of building standard requirements for office buildings and stage environments, and are used in ultra-clean environments such as biotech laboratories and data centers.
  • To meet social distancing requirements you will notice signs and updated furniture placement in our offices and around the Studio lot.
  • Our Security team will be available to assist at all points of entry in an effort to reduce congestion upon your arrival.
  • WB First Aid and WB Fire will be available to provide on-site medical support.
  • WBSO has installed helpful signage throughout the lot. Please follow all instructions and remember to wear your mask!

SELF HEALTH SCREENING
Every day before entering their workplace, all employees must complete a self health screening through WarnerMedia Passcard. Passcard is a web-based system that is mobile friendly. Every location and every individual production will have a unique QR and location code that will be provided to you once you are approved to be in the office, unless local regulation prohibits. It is best to visit the site on a mobile device and bookmark it as you may be required to show the result of the screening to gain entry into your business location. We recommend taking a screenshot of your final results daily. The self health screening process is as follows:

  • On a daily basis, you must visit passcard.warnermedia.com and answer a set of questions.
  • Upon completion, you will receive a GREEN or RED result, which is automatically shared with your supervisor.
  • If you take the Self Health Screening and receive a GREEN passcard: You can proceed to your workplace or location. Upon arrival to any studio gate, employees and guests will need to show a successful health questionnaire to be admitted on the lot or to a parking structure. Employees and guests who have not completed the health screening will be directed to a self-assessment station. If you do not take the screening on your phone, be sure to print your “cleared” passcard.
  • For production crews, in addition to completing the daily health questionnaire mentioned above, you must have your work call time verified through your production supervisor to be eligible to access the property.
  • If you take the Self Health Screening and receive a RED passcard: You should not enter company buildings or report to the workplace. Instead:
    • If RED and you are experiencing what could be considered COVID-19 symptoms as outlined by the CDC, you should contact your primary health care provider/practitioner.
    • Call your Manager/Supervisor and inform them that you will not be attending work and discuss work from home options.
    • If RED due to traveling and you are in a country in which you have to self-quarantine due to the travel or you traveled on a cruise–you will either quarantine and work from home for 14 days or if you are not able to work from home, contact your benefits contact/leave administration representative to discuss COVID-19 sick paid leave.
    • If RED due to being in close contact with a person who was diagnosed with COVID-19, then you should first contact your medical provider or practitioner and then your HR Business Partner (with details of the medical guidance you received).
    • If RED due to having a fever greater than 100.4 F / 38 C, you should contact your medical provider or practitioner. You can check your temperature again the following day and you will restart the self health screening process.
  • We ask that you please anticipate additional wait times to accommodate our new screening process as fast pass lanes are not in service. We appreciate your patience at all gates.
CONFIRMED COVID-19 CASE TRACING
  • In the event the Studio is informed of a person who is confirmed to have the COVID-19 virus, the WarnerMedia COVID-19 Response team, along with Human Resources and/or a Production’s COVID-19 Compliance Officer, will conduct contact tracing to determine if there are any individuals who are required to quarantine due to the exposure. Additionally, a written communication will be sent to anyone believed to have been impacted by the situation. In the interest of time and in support of health and safety of all potentially impacted individuals, these communications are sent without respect to the normal hierarchy of reporting lines.
FACE COVERINGS & ADDITIONAL PPE
  • The mouth and nose of everyone working in the workplace must be covered while inside building(s) and exterior lot locations except for when sitting at your workstation in your own isolated room. You can wear your own face covering or one will be provided to you.

In some cases, such as reception areas, gate and lobby guard stations, we have installed acrylic partitions, though arrangements may vary by location.
  • Always maintain at least 6 feet / 2 meters between you and other people. Do not shake hands, give high fives, hug, elbow or even foot bump.
  • To help ensure you’re practicing safe spacing, most buildings will have floor and workstation markers and signage is posted where necessary. In shared workspace environments, only sit in spaces that have been marked for use.
  • Avoid in-person meetings, for meetings greater than 5 people please use virtual tools (Microsoft Teams). If this is not possible please seek approval for an appropriate space and meetings should involve no more than five people and the participants should be 6 feet/2 meters from one another.
